Pet Supplies Plus Selects The Intelligence Agency as Marketing Partner

TRAVERSE CITY, MICH., August 9, 2005 – The Intelligence Agency, Michigan’s only marketing firm paid based on the results it creates has been engaged as the advertising agency of record for Pet Supplies Plus of West Michigan.

In the new partnership, the Intelligence Agency has committed to increase sales and brand awareness of Pet Supplies Plus of West Michigan. The relationship will utilize many of the Intelligence Agency’s services, including market research, direct marketing, public relations and advertising.

Pet Supplies Plus of West Michigan owns and operates six stores in the Grand Rapids area. Founded in 1988, Pet Supplies Plus was one of the first pet stores to bring supermarket-style convenience and value to the pet food and supply industry. Today, there are over 180 Pet Supplies Plus stores in 21 states.

Pet Supplies Plus of West Michigan joins the growing list clients of The Intelligence Agency, including manufacturers, retailers, banks and more.

The typical Intelligence Agency results-driven arrangement includes an upfront agreement about what goals will be met. If the client reaches the goal, The Intelligence Agency is paid in full. If the client does not reach the goal for whatever reason, The Agency is paid a fraction of its fees. If goals are exceeded, the Agency is paid “times X.”
