Sherwood “Woody” Smith is a 15-year veteran of strategic marketing and marketing research and is a valued partner of the Intelligence Agency. Woody specializes in developing marketing insights to guide enterprise strategy in areas such as business turnarounds, new product/new market entry, brand strategy, customer loyalty, and marketing efficiency. Techniques used include focus groups, surveys, depth interviews and point of purchase intercepts, all administered through a variety of electronic and other media. Recent branding engagements include work for Hagerty Insurance, Northwestern Michigan College, The Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce and Penton Media. Woody holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.A. from Williams College.
